In the United states economy began tank and the number of abuse kids landing in the hospital
with severe brain injuries spiked, a new study shows. From 2004 to 2009, there were 422 children diagnosed with what doctors call “abusive head trauma.” The majority ended up in the intensive care unit, and 16 percent died of their injuries.
It is sad when parents beat their kids so much that the children end up in hospitals and then eventually ending up dead. Those poor kids that do pass don't get a chance in life really and that is just heartbreaking. :(
ReplyDeleteI think it's terrible how kids are beaten so much that they have to go to the hospital. Parents can do so much damage to a kid so fast and not even realize how fast it took them to hurt their kid.
